Say Yes to Serving!
Saved people serve people. How are you serving in your local church? When you say yes to serving you’re saying yes to growing God’s Kingdom, blessing others and sacrificial living. You should feel honored to serve God’s church by using the gifts He has given you to bless others. By saying yes to serving you’re also saying yes to joy, laughter, growth and fellowship.
There are many opportunities to serve on a Sunday morning at Calvary: production, greeting, worship team and more! If you’re not actively serving we ask you pray about taking that next step to not only bless Calvary, our church body, but yourself. There are many people who have already said yes and love the joy of serving others. We encourage you to step into that journey.
So, what are you waiting for?
“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
